Director, Womens Imaging and Chair, Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives with UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital has more than 30 years combined clinical and administrative experience, holding an undergraduate degree in Radiologic Technology, a graduate degree in Healthcare Administration, is ABD and currently planning to complete her doctoral degree.
She is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE); having served as Diversity Advisory Board Chair for the Western PA chapter and a National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional.
She is currently a member of Three Rivers Youth (TRY) Board of Directors and serves as Chair of the Fundraising committee and Secretary for the board. LaJuana also serves on the McAuley Ministries Advisory Council. She is a former member of the Board of Directors for YWCA Greater Pittsburgh and served a term as Board Chair.
She is a proud, active member of the Pittsburgh Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
It is her honor and privilege to serve the community speaking on various women’s health issues and addressing racial disparities. Breast Health and Breast Cancer screening is her professional and personal passion.
She enjoys baking, loves traveling and all things historical. A preeminent interest of hers is genealogy. She has been able to trace her family history to the early 1800’s.
